Wireless Laptops

One of the best things about a laptop is the portability and the way that you can use the laptop almost anywhere.

The problem a few years ago was that you had to have a cable for your broadband and network attached to the laptop and this very much limited where you could use the laptop if you wanted to use your broadband or network. But with a wireless laptop this is not a problem as it can pick up the wireless transmission produced by a wireless router and so you can use broadband and your network all over the home without a cable. You will still need the power cable if you need to use the laptop for longer than the battery will last but this is not usually a problem as you normally have a power outlet close by and if you use the battery you can have no wires at all!

To use the wireless connection you will have to have a wireless router in your home but these are quite cheap. We recommend a wireless router that has an ADSL modem built in as these are the most simple to use, once you have set up the router all you need to do is create a wireless network on your wireless laptop and you are ready to go.

Most laptops these days have a wireless connection but the prices vary. So that you can find the cheap deals we have listed lots of wireless laptops on the right with the cheapest first.
