The Advent laptops are sold by Currys, Dixons and PC World and are basically their own brand laptops.
They are very good though as they are very cheap and have some good specifications and so for a cheap laptop Advent can be a great choice. Some of the really cheap Advent laptops can be a bit bulky which is a shame but this is not so bad once you get used to it and the build quality is not as good as the leading brands but when you consider how cheap they are then you realise that they are a great deal.
When you buy an Advent laptop online have a look at the amount of memory that it has and how large the hard drive is. These are important as the larger they are the smoother the laptop will run and the more files you will be able to store in the laptop. It is also wise to see if it is wireless as wireless laptops are much nicer to use, you can use your broadband all over the house and even in the garden and you can also share files with other computers in the home wirelessly.
