Laptops are great and quite frankly you would have to be mad to buy a desktop
computer now as laptops are around the same price and are so much nicer to
use. You can use them anywhere; on the sofa or in bed or even in the garden
and you can also access the Internet in all of these locations too due to
the wonders of wireless technology. So what would you prefer; to be sat at
a boring desk or to be lay on the sofa or anywhere also that you choose?
And laptops are so small and sleek these days but still have a huge amount

the laptop the perfect new computer to buy for the home.
Also don't worry
about the touchpad, many computer users are so used to the mouse that they
dread having to use a touch pad but trust us when we say this is unfounded
as the touchpads are really easy to use and after a few hours it will be
second nature!

There are lots of laptop computers that you can buy and the one that you buy depends on what your needs are. if you are wanting to browse the Internet, send some emails and use some office software for word processing and other office tasks then you can safely buy a basic and cheap laptop as even today's most basic laptops can handle this with extreme ease.
If you are wanting to play the latest games then you are going to have to look at the specification of the laptop and make sure that it has a good graphics card, lots of memory and a fast processor as these will run the games much more smoothly than laptops that so not have the right specification. Also if you are planning on running demanding software then you should also look for lots of memory and a fast processor as these are needed so that the computer can handle the tasks that you are asking of it.
The other important issue is the hard drive and this stores all of your data and so if you like to download allot of MP3's or other files then you are going to need a large hard drive and so you should check this before you buy a laptop.
